Beyond (rinse/fwd) will be taking place on 5th March (our orig date) at Plastic People with a top lineup including Marcus Nasty, Roska, Geeneus... will be there anyway. Please pas son the info f you knew anone planing on coming.

i enjoy them both a lot. they're quite different, don't think you can compare them really. hudmo's more leftfield so prolly won't get as much notice.

i'd say rustie actually has some weirder tracks, but hudson mohawke sounds a bit more sophisticated, professional, and polished though.

I think Rustie's production value is VERY high, the mastering is mind blowing on some good headphones. Very clean and crisp. However, HudMo tends to use a fair bit of low quality drums, which gives it more of a fuzzy choppy sound and samples that have been stretched and slowed, Whereas Rustie doesnt...

I think I disagree... but nonetheless both amazing at each approach Id say.

if you're basing your opinion off cafe de phresh/jagz the smack/various 12"s then i can see where you're coming from, but a majority of rustie's unreleased shit sounds very much like how you described hudson mohawke's music.

Rustie has such a diverse range of styles though.

yeah Ive heard a few of them unreleased beats. They started sounding a bit like a retro Halloween (the movie) soundtrack, with the 80s synths n that. so, I can see how you mean theyre a bit like HudMo's too.
