Yeah man. Im from blackpool and we used to use the term, so i think it's a northern thing.

Do you not have any 'under the counter' places in Shef? I have a few shops around here in hackney that do half price cigs and tobacco.

Listen to "blinded by the lights" by the streets, mike says Tabs in that to refer to cigarettes "smoked six tabs to the knob"

i remember when snout used to only be said by people who lived in pubs and had pictures of satan on their arms
