Legendary i have never used a jv module but from what i read its not something suited to synthesis. It might have a vfa lfo and vcf section but its no replacement for massive.
jp8080, novation supernova, sh101, mc202, all these synths can be bought cheap on ebay. Or check vemia its an auction site for vintage synths they ahve an auction on in april

Just buy it, quit your thievin...
But then I bought it in the states, 99 bucks. Wats that, 70 pounds?
You'll make better sounds if you've got to go out and trade your blood sweat and tears for your sound sources. You will be more invested.
Amen brother and well said. Its not so much the ethical part (of course companies like NI have shrunk a studio so small that it can fit in your macbook and they deserve some dough for it ) as the fact that having 10000 synths that you stole in your disposal means that you probably don't know how to properly use any of them. Many electronic music pioneers had only one synth and maybe an 8 or 12bit sampler with 2megs of memory. And as said earlier they paid 2000-3000 for their one synth that could do 1/10th of what a supersynth like massive does.

I realise this may be a little off topic but
Cheap???

I wouldn't call $700 cheap for a SH-101. I bought mine used and abused for the equivalent of 35 euros back in 97. I know I grabbed a bargain but really people in the late 90s were practically giving them away. The limitations of a 1 osc monosynth were too much for a time when digital synths were the shit. I only bought it because I have heard it was used by all the great dubbers of the time ( and I couldn't for the life of me make it spit out a decent bassline for several years). But 700 ? Hell no. It's a great little synth but its not worth that much. This analog worshipping madness has to stop some time. At least worship the giants of yesteryear like Minimoogs or Prophets but really sometimes it gets simply ridiculous.
A good way to give your gf a hernia

Like sex?
Anyway, legit version of komplete here and everything runs smooth as hell. Save up some $ for massive, it's well worth it and it's not too expensive.

dont buy it... the legit version also messes up in this way
its a problem with logic and massive not the crack.
just reinstall os x and install it again to get it working properly... and make sure it doesnt update itself.
