drops like vexd-killing floor have the heavyness i like but its a canny predictable one, a drop i really dont is midnight request line, its a lush tune but the drop doesnt really make uz wanna skank to fuck like vexd-fire for example.

I think the construction of the mix does it for me. Where you get a nice little bit of the intro to a track as the other is slowly dying out, then percussion/beat of the incoming track starts with the mid equaliser still hearable on the outgoing track, before.........BOOM! This is always better when its a tune I'm not familiar with, even more so when stood directly in front of the speakers' at fwd!

Having said that, a pretty standard mix that gives you the silence and full intro of the incoming tune is still sick - allows your chest to stop rattling for a minute.

its a good one , hmmmmmm.

see i love a solid chesticle drop, but i think i prefer the realisation effect. you know when your just skankin and then you get a moment of clarity and  fuck me this is a heavy track!!!!

Probably a decent tune coming in after it.

I like a switch-up in rhythm too, the kind you get in second drops. For example, the second drop to Kalawanji. Or Acid Trak by Dillinja.

Other than that it's hard to say, a drop can work in any number of ways. You can have the drum fill/explosion style drop, the eerie silence/bass-fart drop, the drums drop first and then suddenly BASS drop...
