might use logic for some tunes, but his grime (ironsoul) and nearly all his dubstep is with fruity

i agree with this, i always think a good daw should be like a blank canvas that allows you to achieve what you want with speed and ease of use being the priority.
some daws tend to miss out at least one of these.

do audio interfaces help in making "heavy" tunes? (technicalwise ?)

I think its interesting to know what people use as well.
I mean I got to a stage where I blamed my lack of equipment on the shit tunes I was producing, then I found out what other producers where using and I was surprised by how the modest the setups where, so I went back started looking into techniques and really working with what I got, pushin out good tunes these because of it.

sometimes when you hear these guys' music you think they are using equipment that you dont have...it really does help you to rethink your
equipment/software and help you to believe its possible and not magic!!!If Kromestar can use Fruity then I can too!
