This thread is now officially hijacked and made into a squarepusher appreciation thread. Period.

i completely agree.

just glad that rusko also sees the potential of live bass being heavier than WOBOLBAZZ.

Squrepusher was sick at corsica new years and bangface weekender last year. Intense listening, proper intelligent stuff

Word to Moses. His Weekender set last year was legendary... revived my dancing feet a treat!

That room was fucking murder all weekend. I was so glad to see Mala, Kode9 and uZiq all in a row in the second room on Saturday night!!

Apparently they've sorted the aircon this year.... they fucking better have!

to be honest even if they don't i'm pretty sure it's going to be as banging as it was last year... little over two weeks now!

goddamnit though they could have found better dubstep guys than Caspa and Skream though :(
They'll be perfect for Bangface, I reckon... it's a bit more balls out and less cerebral than Bloc, innit!

I'm really looking forward to Skream's set... he's spot on for the Hard Crew vibe. Plus we've got Flying Lotus, Cardopusher, Ebola, Gaslamp Killer and Rustie taking the BPM down a bit.... and they've just announced some Dub, I think.

I had to cancel a trip to Bristol this weekend, so I'm sat at home eating my own fucking head with excitement about the Weekender!

alrite, a few people are probably gonna crack here, but I've just watch that squarepusher video and yes its impressive bass playing, but its more acrobatics then something I'd actually listen too. Basically what I'm trying to say is, its wank, its bass wanking. I have mates that are well into there guitar and bass wanking constantly showing me stuff like this and what I think yeah its alright, but I think the actually music is taking a backseat to the wank, ya know what I mean?

But at the end of the day its what ever floats your boat I guess

bollocks >_<, I new I should looked checked out a few more of his tunes before I called it wank. I did check another as well which I wasn't impressed with either but those ones really cool, especially 'My Red Hot Car'. The other first clip I called wank just give some rough flash backs to groups of long haired men going 'look, look, look whats hes doing hes flickin this finger as his bending that one and etc...." >_< "If I wanna see a wizard I'l go to a magic show, stick something good on"

Yes, but you wrote like only these three were essential, so I added another.
