should we be ok turning up at the door? or are tickets recommended?
looking at rteviews at places NY doorstaff and scene is very different to the uk relaxed atittudes.
whats a good area in ny to hang out with lots of bars and clubs nearby?

dont buy advance tix. if you end up not being able to reach due to multiple reasons and never even get out, you lose out big time. i lost 30 bucks last month

and im hella gutted about it. i could use that 30 bucks...due to this, i prob wont make it out this month-unless i get something sorted.

Good bars in that area, but head west to the "rusty knot" west 11th and the west side highway, order a pickle back, check out the scenery.

its really the combination of scuba with appleblim that's going to be so good. both of them cover such a huge range in the sound that there's something for everyone to get into....

Here's what I do know:
1. I won three consecutive matches.
(or -- in the words of one of my former roommates, "I won three consecutive matches back-to-back in a row.")
2. If you're the guy that I thumb-wrestled for the second time, that "pull away" was a slip and you know it. If the arm holders were doing their job, you would have lost again.
3. There's video footage of my triumphs.
4. My thumb and hand were getting real sore. I did have to mix later in the evening.
5. Second place means you're the first loser. I was second to no one.
Keep in mind -- I'm saying all this with a pinch of humor...but i do take my thumb wrestling very seriously.
