Deeeeefinitely check out the hessle audio!! Every release/artist too sick to be honest.

And yeah, Router was easily...and I think I actually mean easily my favourite record of 2008! Just...just...so goddam sick. Everything I want out of dance music condensed, made better than I could ever have imagined and squeezed onto a 12". Jesus fuck, im gonna go listen to it now.

However i don't give a toss if it means somebody enjoys the music, I make tracks that fit most of your initial requirements.

I always say, have a listen to the tunes on my page. There are regular updates, a few more tunes will be going up in the next couple of weeks.

And if you thinks it's all a crock of shite, fair enough. Just let me know!

Cheers mate.
Take note - Monday's Child / Roof Light has some INCREDIBLE tracks...

I stumbled upon them by chance, and now I can't get enough.

dj ld wrote:I think this could be a big year for SYNKRO. I think maybe he gets seen as a Burial copycat, but he's a seriously talented producer even if he is influenced by Burial. My favourite tracks of his are Dont Know and the recent Tell Me absolutely lovely stuff!
This. "Everybody Knows" all by itself pretty much makes me wanna stop making music. :P

I'm not gonna bother rattling off the big names but obviously check Burial the fuck out if you haven't.

Apart from Synkro, be sure to check out the Austin, TX 2step heads like VVV and fbom, as well. Their shit also makes me wanna stop making music. haha

EDIT: As well as Absense, Apathesis and Spekta/Moonchild. Well worth checking out.

Anyway, a big thank you to the people who mentioned me, I recently put up a bunch of new tracks on my page, I'm trying to take things in a subtler, yet more complex direction with the percussion (as well as the vocal sampling).

L2S records... only got a couple of releases but they're both super original takes on 2-step/garage sound and I've been really impressed. Fans of Sully etc. NEED this.
And Atki2 + Hanuman's Ratatosk Tree has some proper 2-step stuff as well as some Kuduro style bangers and some baile funk sound pallettes... amazing!
