'Runark' has been an huge hit, check it if you like the 8bit-ish stuff
The remixes are baaaaad as well, lotsa wikkidness goin on
www.myspace.com/congorock
that's so wierd he's known for this, and also great, I've known Congorock since he was in Screamo band La Quiete!
we used to trade records and we now occasionally chat on MSN about electronic music.
he wasn't in Raein though, that was Michelle from La Quiete.
Can't test Littlefoot on the Screamo/Emo knowledge, I am the law.

EuroSkram (tm) died a pretty horrible death
that Suis La Lune band are mostly to blame (maybe)
my band kinda got lumped in with that stuff, but we're not really on that tip at all.

dubbeldutch wrote:while occasionally bad ass... proxy isn't really fidget.. this might stem from the misunderstanding that 'fidget' refers to that signature out-of-tune bassline (portamento or pitch mod etc..).
most of what's being called fidget these days is just a lot of nonsense. stupid low out of tune basslines and really annoying vocal cut-ups. in my opinion fidget should have more of a chicago jack house feeling that most of the current productions are just missing entirely.
if you're looking for fidgety stuff on the minimal bass tip i recommend:
Oliver $, HiJack, Mowgli, Solo, and just about everything on Made to Play records owns.
Elite Force and Zodiac Cartel are my go-to guys for super hard jackin fidget bordering on techno.
HOLY ONE POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! serious listen to this guy he's knows whats up soo it seems....
Lee Mortimer and Clark Able are also two of my favorites.
If you stop at diplo, boy 8 bit, jack beats, switch, sinden, herve, etc... you're kind of only surface scratchin.
Notable labels:
Wearhouse, ESP, Jack Union, Made to Play, U & A, and Grand Petrol.

i've heard some AC Slater tunes that are alright.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF2pbp6Xb9k
to me, this genre sounds kinda like Bassline, but just a bit slower.
tbh, i dont really see this genre going anywhere. I can see people liking it, but i cant imagine it being anyone's favorite genre.

Recently became a massive fan of A1 Bassline
all of his remix's are pretty insane, highlighting the Cockney Thug one
top Fidget House/Electro House as it all sounds the same to be fair:
Jack Beats
AC Slater
Drop the Lime
Rico Tubbs
A1 Bassline
Andy George
Foamo
Barletta
Toddla T
DJ Bam Bam
Crookers
Busy P
Mikix The Cat
Mightyfools
Black Holes
Reamdy
Blackfinger
Deadmau5 (with reward is cheese)
there are obviously loads more but i like these ones alot
