We already had facts, that's the thing. It was always factual that there's a transitional form linking us to Prosimians. As I said, no one in the scientific community raised an eyebrow as far as its features go, because phylogenetic bracketing alone already proved its existence long before we found it.

However, this has little to nothing to do with the current crisis, the hype machine was started 2 years ago, sadly.
