I used to skateboard and I will admit that was cool as fuck. When doing a flip it is hard enough to spot your landing, but spotting your landing on a 2" wide piece of steel is next level.

Used to do both Skating and Boarding and have mutual respect for both "sport-forms". The technical skill involved to control a board is great, and I love the smooth, flowy style of skating. There's some mad bastards with each too.
End of the day it's all about the enjoyment factor. Which entails fucking everyone else, getting some good exercise, having fun and doing as you damn well please.
