Newcastle, 7.8% unemployed (June 2008)
Birmingham 10.1% unemployed (June 2008)
UK average is 4.8%, hmmmm.... I don't trust these figures, a proper geordie would never work.

all the old women I used to work with call Northfield chernobyl, it is definatly where you live though, I've never had a problem with crime, and I've certainly never heard any gunshots or seen any shit, which was a frequent occurance when living up in Manchester. But I guess the stats are the stats.
We're also winning on the swine flu front I think, with 50+ of the 200 or so UK cases.

I swear hardly anyone talks with a brummie accent, that accent people think is brummie is really black country allrighhht duccky shit, we got a bit of a twang yes, but it aint got half the grate as a geordie accent or scouse, it's all southern superior media hype in my opinion, trying to make us look thick.
