Saw L-Vis at fabric last night, he dropped a whole series of these dubblestep edits and they worked really well in the environment. Made dubstep fit right into the electro-y set really well.
love the tunes, nice vibes, would sound good on a soundsystem
but i don't really see any reason to claim subgenre status... it's still ~140bpm so why not just call it dubstep? i thought the whole point of dubstep was that you can do pretty much anything with it?
