How can one possibly go about promoting the message of 'love' (love thy neighbour and fellow man), and still dislike people intensely? Well, maybe one just needs some buddhist-like healing, meditation, introspection etc, but I can't for the life of me like Jack Black. In fact, he annoys me to bits.

It's my fault though, and I shall work on it. :) :wink:

Don't think he'd be too happy about it, but I'll give you this;

I was with a couple of friends of mine when they did last summer (one of my friends lived in the Amazon a year and brought some back), and I am absolutely set on going back to South America as soon as I have the money for it and do a series of ayahuasca-trips. Most people I've talked to who have taken it says they literally feel reborn after a trip (or a series of trips), and an enormous understanding and connectedness to the universe. I think it's the most interesting thing I've ever heard of.

Would recommend everyone to check out "Other Worlds" by Jan Kounen.

Oh, and the moral of the story? I think there are ways to overcome one's own ego and actually accept everyone and everything going on around oneself. Including Jack Black. :wink:

Me and a few friends were thinking of going to Peru to partake in an ayahuasca ritual, unfortunately I've run into mental difficulties at the present time so it's been postponed, maybe indefinitely. :lol:

Fly Lo's blog about when he did DMT is also an interesting read for those who are interested.

I only liked him in high fidelity and be kind rwd (great movie)... I absolutely loath Tenacious D :x I find him annoying and self important. But he has his moments I guess. He also was cast as the asshole in Cable Guy (another amazingly hilarious movie) in which I thought he did well in cause he just played himself.

Bored at 2 in the morning, went in the bath, started out as shaving foam glasses then went slightly over the top :6:
