i'd rather think it's an ironical pastiche of some old house vids, benny benassi comes to mind, but i think the clash between the aesthetics there and the sound is intentional and quite cool
as for robots & cellos: lovely mon, thanks! soz for the tempo shit, it's 132 if i remember well, tunes tell me what bpm they need to be, not the other way around
