sorry if me putting up DMZ007 on discogs for £1000 made people start taking the piss even more

things on discogs were ridiculous a year ago, it only figures that people are going to bump the prices up steadily over time. just don't be a muppet and pay more than £30 or so for a record!

I was gonna make a topic about this today lol.

I think its a shame how they dont get pressed any more. Has music become some 'exclusive' thing?

Obviously I know someone mentioned the master's got lost so fair enough.

But for people like me not being into vinyl from the very start, we loose out on all the big tracks becuase of such limited pressings.

All we have to settle for is these extortionate prices on discogs :( :( :(

All I can say is: Wait a couple of years and prices will go down. Dubstep vinyl prices are on the peak rite now; I wouldnt suggest to buy any DMZ rite now.

The market must be much larger now than it was back in 04/05 when those early DMZs were pressed though. If the numbers had been put out back then to supply the kind of demand there is now, they might well have ended up just sat on a shelf rather than actually being bought. You never know though. Most of those DMZ releases are strong enough that they'll probably endure whatever twists and turns the genre takes over the next few years, so maybe some of them will see a new pressing at some point.

it's a sad state of affairs when spongebob is worth more than blue notez

got all but 001, 002 & 003 in our house.. might buy officer/mood dub, but doubt i would ever shell out for twisup/chamber or horror show/ten dread commandments/etc they go for some utterly ludicrous price, would be lovely to have em though.

I pine for Neverland  I wish I had a copy

first thing I did when I started buying vinyl again was buy all the DMZ releases available - one of the wiser things I've done in my life, would love Neverland and Ruffage but fuk paying 50 bones

there's too much good shit coming out still - slowly building up an Untold back catalogue :D

Its stupid man. I keep thinking right..i gotta keep this £20 to get officer dub or a WAR....then RINGO008 comes out....and you know, you have to get two copies of that one

*sigh*

Hmm,

I personally dont get warm with "Blue Notez", perhaps too jazzy for me. I think each other Mala 12" is better than this one.

"Spongebob" is a massive floor destroyer; I would rate it higher than "Blue Notez". However each other Mala release on DMZ is bigger than Spongebob.
