Bit rich coming from a guy who proudly states he doesn't pay his TV licence, despite it being "worth it".

Not really. It's not a hard concept to get your head around. Maybe it is if you have a pea for a brain. Do you have a pea for a brain?kins83 wrote:Bit rich coming from a guy who proudly states he doesn't pay his TV licence, despite it being "worth it".

"Oohhh that's worth it, just can't afford it right now. I'll get it the next time"
That there was rocket science. Was it? Idiot.
i pay for sattelite tv, so wether i download it now or watch it on tv later, theyre (bbc) still gettin my money.DJ Whistla wrote:do you have to pay to watch it?Spire wrote:i always have to download em cause i hate fucking waiting 4+ months for them to broacast here on BBCA, and then even after that theyre edited for time. lame.
I mean we do, so how come the rest of the world dont pay?
always wondered about this, i mean I know in Holland they can get the bbc just the same as a UK head can, like turn telly on boom theres bbc. they dont pay for it, so why do we?
grinds my gears i tell thee!
Fuckin' hell you really are an idiot. Now toddle off and think about what you just wrote, get a grown up to help if it's a bit hard.kins83 wrote:lol it's sad that baiting people on the internet is how you get your kicks.

You've slightly missed the point. We pay for the license fee so we don't pay by watching adverts. Viewers of commercial channels effectively "pay" for their TV by sitting through adverts. The BBC gets paid by foreign broadcasters for the rights to its shows (including the rights to remake them)... they probably end up "paying" more than you or I in the long run.DJ Whistla wrote:do you have to pay to watch it?Spire wrote:i always have to download em cause i hate fucking waiting 4+ months for them to broacast here on BBCA, and then even after that theyre edited for time. lame.

Ok i hear that for the BBCA channel or what not.Magma wrote:You've slightly missed the point. We pay for the license fee so we don't pay by watching adverts. You know, there's not *always* something to complain about.
I guess it depends how they view it. If it's on a broadcast channel then that channel will be paying the BBC for the rights to broadcast their shows (same as the BBC pays for American/Australian/etc shows that it broadcasts on behalf of us)... if they manage to spoof an IP and watch over the iPlayer then, yeah, they're getting it for free.DJ Whistla wrote:Ok i hear that for the BBCA channel or what not.
But what about eg. Holland etc.. (also Belgium I think too#) where they literally get the BBC, totally @ the same time as us. No adverts at all.
Im not particularly moaning, rather I just find it interesting if they do pay or not.
