You mean you like Dubstep better??

Everyone on www.tuvanthroatsingingforum.com put Dubstep straight away without me even having to pointlessly go on about how Dubstep was better

Come on surely some of you people prefer the melodious yet mildly sinister overtones of a Tuvan throat singer? ?

It's been going for a lot longer..
OMG LOL!!!!

you class photek as jungle?

ni ten ichi ryu is drum & bass surely?

tom & jerry was a 4 hero alias...

i can see how relics could be seen as being junglish but for me photek is a part of the latter era
Photek made music called (and/or) Jungle/drum n bass. Get it ? the terms are interchangeable, used to describe the same music.

Its always been that way.
listen buddy I haven't just discovered the music...I have been listening to it since i was 15...thats 15 years of listening and talking to others that listen to it....the term can be used but really jungle refers to a specific style..it hasn't always been that way...people didn't call it drum & bass straight away after hardcore evolved into it...

yeah "jungle" and "drum n bass" aren't interchangeable terms, maybe they are in america..

for me dubstep and dnb seem to have swapped places - dubstep's predominantly loud, aggy midrange business and now dnb seems to be a lot more deep bass and crisp drums

i went to the last ram records and don't think i heard a single lfo all night :o

still equally like both genres though

lol what about breakcore? hardcore? all the other -core genres which are based around dnb? So easy to drop something like this when your mixin dnb. Or just just straight up balls out heavy shit like Current Value No dubstep can compete with heavy shit like I:Gor. (mmm I:Gor @Glade on saturday :P )

On topic there is no better genre. I listen to jungle/hardtek/dnb/-core when I go out but prefer dubstep/garage/grime etc for at home and shit

Personally I don't even think dubstep as we know it would exist without DNB or Jungle or whatever. I like what dubstep is now better than what DNB is now but that is as far as I will go.

The truth of the matter is I never got into drum and bass and it still bores the shit out of me. Its way too fast for my stoned ass, besides I have really bad hand eye cordination and I might fall down and hurt myself trying to dance to some Pendulum :o and who is this I:Gor you speak of, can I get more details or link to his music.. Hook a brother up...
