The sad thing is, I can actually imagine someone saying that. In America, everything electronic that's not hip-hop is "techno".

i wonder how it works with the publishing when its tempa/emi handling benga's, and then salaam remi gets co-production credit for tracking the vocal?

Just want to let myself be counted along with 'people who don't necessarily think that dubstep + rappers is an awful idea'. Still can't get into this though....

quiet like it, always liked eve anyway. feels like its being made more distorted and subs are not as big? probably imagining it.

chorus is kinda weak. verse is kinda ill. reminds me of busta's flows from the early 90s-- dangerous, put your hands where my eyes could see, etc.

yeah i haven't seen salaam remi's name around in US pop music at all recently. Chances are he's working on eve's new record, e-trips somehow made it to them, he recorded her flowing over it, and then the labels and other representation sorted out the billing.

In truth (ie, the world outside DSF), it works well for everyone. Eve and Remi get some more underground cred, and Benga gets some overground credentials.

this.

If all the bigger hiphop names desperately want to rap over dubstep beats, please do real collaborations...not this 'taking an anthem and put half assed loud vocals over it'. It's a joke really

12th planet ft Rass Kass ftw. As a longtime hiphop head, i'm glad someone finally did it right
