jimmajamjamie that tune is dark eyes down stuff, i like the vibe. snare sounds a bit out of place to me, maybe its my ears but maybe another sample would have worked better? still, good stuff!

Your reverb return is muddying up the mix a bit, but the idea is there. I like the resonance it gives off. I also like those metallic sounds, and if you were to get some more 'traditional' drum sounds and some rumbling subs in there it could sound pretty dark. Could do with a little more variation too, but it's clearly unfinished, so I won't give you beef for that
