@arisemprex - This cut sound real nice..solid production. Id love to hear this on its own without the vocals... not feeling the vocals at all, sorry :( I'll probably get hated on, but i think 99.99999% of dubstep MC's need to shut right the fuck up and let me enjoy the music (jungle mc's included).

I feel ya man, I was thinking the same to be honest. So I uploaded a new one with no vox + more guitar where it needed to put since a good amount of ppl thought the vox was not fitting to good...oh yeah and I eqd a bit haha. Let me know what you guys think

@Omni Kraut: Wow mad one, not really my thing but cool. I really like the shuffle this tune has and I think this should be made more powerful with a kind of crunchy snare, the crazy all over the place synths sit nicely but it lacks a bit of rhythm so it kind of has the feeling like its building up to something that never comes.. if you get me?

@ sirminus: Really like the drums, the main distorted saw synth is a bit loud and a bit too full on I would say, its kind of like a joker tune but with out the interesting high lead. try splitting the saw synth and shifting some of your effects between them.

@Fatach: (Fat Cat Morning Stars) Ah I was sooo into this until it "dropped" honestly get rid of the drop the wobble and the horrible high pitched stuff. but if you insist, maybe someone more into that type of thing can help you out with.

@Debaser1: Theres good energy to this track, again im no head for this side of dubstep but its better than a lot I have heard.

Yay my turn, been working on this for last couple of days, its very dark, has kind of a cyrus/tunnage feel

:)
So what do you think?

@ibscotty: Its missing something, the track feels too empty right now. The high-hat is too quiet. But you've got this going in a good direction, keep working on it.
@arisemprex: Doing up the harmonic minor riffage I see. The guitar feels like too much, it hits too hard at the start when it should build up to it instead. Still sounded good, tho. The wobble sound could use some tweaking, too.
@Voodeedoo: I was feeling it up until the synth at 0:30. I don't like that synth sound at all, sounds too basic. The intro's nice, tho. You should have the song kick in without the fuzz after the intro.
@Debaser1: Sick tune. After :55 is the best part. I don't like the quarter note wobbles leading up to it as much, they're pretty repetitive and take away from the nasty drop you have at :55. I say make those wobbles less intense leading up to the drop, so the drop is more intense. Good work all around bro, I really liked the second half of this song.

Just an idea a came up with quick. Ignore the fact that there's no transition between the bass and the rest of the song, I haven't gotten to that yet.

Should I go anywhere with this? or just start something else.

FluidMotion: Oh this is very much a cros between daftpunk, deadmau5, and modeselektor. Now, can I give you any higher praise than that? I think not. This has the genes of a really banging tune my friend. Give us a comment on soundcloud when it's done, i cant wait.

Sorry to repost again so soon, fancied it. Ive added an intro and jumped up the production a bit. Changed the drums, and made the first bass/synth more meaty and raw.

YESS! This is exactly what I wanted to hear, Much better. The build up is much smoother now and it sounds dope. Maybe tone down the crackling sound on the synth a little, but other than that this is definitely headed in the right direction :D:

I did a little reworking on my own wip as well. I added an intro and layered up the synth a bit. I'm also thinking of extending the first measure of just wah-synth for a few more measures and putting a vocal sample over it before the intro I got now starts.

I reckon that could get you signed(not that I would know anythin about that aye. Real original sounds, only feedback really is there's a sound, and I'll mark it on soundcloud, it stick out in the mix and sounds not so good.

Wherever this goes I want a 320, Big ups to you man.

Hey guys heres a new liquid dnb piece I've been working on
Soundcloud

and a new jump up track I'm doing
Soundcloud

@ed24 really was not expecting that drop after that intro, love the sample, I really want you to finish this, would love to drop this in a club!

@Debaser1 I think the first bass is maybe a bit too distorted, but love it when the track switches up and it gets even better with the 4x4 beat! nice work!

@ibscotty love the hollow bass sound youve got going on, I reckon you need a better mixdown overall to make the track sparkle a little bit more, and I get the vibe your goin for but I think a little variation wouldnt hurt, even if you add a more lively hi hat pattern at times or something

will give more feedback later, need sleep :H:

hmmm, im just using crap ear buds so i cant really tell how low it is, but it is pure sines, obviously different octaves, but do you mean like one single low sine wave? and i am def gonna read that, good looking out man! i went by that first -8/-10 post but i guess its not working

Soundcloud

Edit: also tryed my best to beef up the bass on my first tune i posted, plus i also changed up the beginning vox sample that wasnt so great

yeah, the synth even disappointed me. it was something i worked on only once tho, so i just wanted to get the concept down before i fix it up

Ok, this is my first track that I am trying to complete as a whole and some input would be greatly appreciated from some of you veterans. I feel I have a very good ear for what I am trying to do I just need to learn what everything means. I think this has a lot of potential. Thanks for your opinions.

I get an "oops, looks like we can't find that page" from your link Snelly...

Here's my newest. Changed the first lead synth around a bit, but really, the way the second half's developing, I'm considering ditching the whole first half as it stands now... whatcha think?

Thanks for the feedbak!

Sirminus: Yes, I could, but can't seem to find good free synth plugin, maybe getting something like
massive or omnisphere for xmas :) @Your track: Very solid and nice intro, like how it's raising and then bam
very electric and nice style, good work! Maybe add some more random samples to it, female vocals and stuff?

Fatach: Very original track, like it! Would like to see some more percussion. Also the part from 2.04 is very freaky :o

Voodeedoo: Nice sounding beat, imo the drums need more punch.

ibscotty: Very dark indeed, like it. Make the drop a bit more interesting and some variaton in drums.
Good track nonetheless.

Now for my new wip, wanted to make something heavier, still need alot of work, but I'm quite happy with it:

@ FluidMoShun: yeah I know what you mean, the hats really need re-working, I'm terrible with them, have to do a bit of reading/research or bully someone else in to writing them for me :)
@ Bledbox: Thanks man, it took a lot of layering and a lot of tweaking / filtering to get the bass just how I wanted it, again see above about the hats, I dig what your saying about variation too, needs something to break it up a bit, Im thinking about sampling this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5ASd2W- ... re=related.

Thanks guys

As grime said, thats allllll mids. You need a beefy sub behind that. When i used to make subs with fl, i used 3x osc... very easy to make beefy subs, here is a vid i just found using fl9, hope it helps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_eGsNVHDsY

Im digging this quite a bit..however, it doesnt seem like that synth line goes well with that style of bass..or the other way around. if you are using those shiny synths, id go with a less evil bass, or if your using that bass, id go with some darker pads rather than those synths. Great drums btw =)
