I'm a bit sick of being excluded by now, I love vinyl with all my heart, but it just SUCKS that there's no way I could get quality digitals for Falty's EP.

it would be nice if they did a 'retrospective' CD.

yeah i think was May 2nd originally...everything's been pushed back. Swamp was on a tear there for a second, they seem to have slowed down after the Boddika EP.

Jep thought of may 2nd too.

Juno says 27th of June now...

Can't complain though, it's been a while that i bought 3 releases of the same label in a very short time. If everything really got released every month or so, i think he would release faster than the evolution of this kind of music is going at. There should be a way though where the owner of the vinyl can get the audio file, without the possibility of sharing it on the internet...

In NO way I was trying to ask for anything illegal. All I want is to listen to this EP and pay for it, cos I pay for ALL my music. I managed to buy 8 of Swamp's EPs, I paid 18 € alone for Boddika's 4 tracker and would happily pay the same amount of money for Falty's EP. I'm sorry if this offended anyone, I'm just not satisfied with listening to shitty youtube rips. I understand it's not going to change.

Paying some person for digital rips is not the same as paying the label/artist for their music, I think that's the difference.

Yeah, it was more for the effort. It's just that I doubt I could buy them directly from FaltyDl. Ah well, i'm just frustrated, Mean Streets is SUCH a tune... and so few made their way to our shops.

Again, sorry.

nah fuck swamp81 and their exclusive mentality.
fair enough they wanna stick to vinyl and they can do that but they shouldn't complain about people downloading rips

This dude down the road from me bought a sweet new ride cause there was some special on and there were only 20 of those cars for sale.

Just cause I missed out on the sale doesn't mean I am now going to steal his car does it?

Support the music, buy the vinyl, record it for yourself off your mates deck or buy a cheap listening turntable, then sell the vinyl on to someone who does have decks and everybody wins.

It doesnt seem like much effort if you reallllly want these tunes (If you are willing to steal them?), plus your guaranteed a good quality rip you did yourself instead of downloading god knows what...

I do wonder why Swamp only pressed 500 copies of that release in the first place? and labeled them 'for promotional use only'? wonder if it had anything to do w/Falty being signed to mu-ziq and them not wanting him to have a full-blown release on swamp??? glad i was able to snag a copy anyway :)

thats different though, downloading music doesn't prevent anyone else from listening it

that shit you posted seems like too much effort. if i never downloaded elements croydon house i would never be able to listen to after over 6 months, its a fucking joke, if u cant afford even a cheap deck how can u listen to the tunes. what annoys me the most is some of these tunes are the best to have been made recently yet their restricting the spread of the sound. they can attempt to artificially keep their shit niche but i will always download swamp81 releases

wow

i'm on a completely different thought process than you, man. i'm stoked a label like this still puts out quality vinyl... "attempt to artificially keep their shit niche?" what does that even mean?

big up loe for the wax
