If you guys haven't checked out Authors DMZ mix on jack sparrows soundcloud, definitely check it out. I'm not into mixes really, i've just never liked them, but holy shit this is mixed perfectly, amazing mix!

You dont do yourself any favours on here Cornbreadddd. You seem into tunes like anyone else and all of a sudden you come out with stupid remarks like that ^^^^^

How can you not like mixes? What is there not to like? Nothing beats being in the middle of the dance, eyes down and all of a sudden you hear a tune you absolutely love come in and it just sends you onto another level.

All mixes differ in regards to which DJ is playing. Some just like to drop tunes that are classics and represent themselves whilst creating a wild crowd reaction. (dmz is a good example)

Others like that Author mix your talking about aim to make a full 60 min mix feel like one song with no blemishes throughout.

Its an art either way you look at it.

Seriously, why do I constantly get attacked for anything I state. Morike, do you not have something better to do with your time? Really though, I mean anything I begin to state you seem to give me shit for. Is it a way for you to blur your own insecurities, or what? It's not even a comment directed towards you, so sit back, shut the fuck up, and try not being a fucking dick over the internet just to feel empowered.

I'm in the States, no good dubstep is played within a 400 mile radius of me and hearing good stuff out isn't really an option. If it were, then HELL YEAH I'd love to go out and hear a good live mix and skank the fuck out, of course! But hearing mixes in the comfort of my own home isn't the same. I don't see what is so hard to grasp about that concept. The fact that I would receive so much flame for that is absolutely amazing to me. Please don't think that I'm not into mixes at all, it's just that I never get the chance to hear them live, which is what it's all about with mixes, live performance. I don't have that option without driving really far away, so mixes aren't as special when played at home. That's all...

Good idea, i just find it funny that whatever thread he jumps into seems to end in tears

just because you cant listen to it on a soundsystem doesnt mean you cant enjoy it anyway. Think how many people slap a pair of headphones on every monday to listen to Youngsta. Obviously its not the same as hearing it in clubs but why do you think there are several radio stations out there all broadcasting mixes across all genres?
