Heh just saw it, really enjoyed it. Exactly what I paid for, cheesy fun action.
I as sick in my mouth a bit from cheese overdose when that guys name was Robin, somehow I didn't see that coming.

I saw it last night, it was pretty good, a bit too long though. I was half asleep through it so i missed what justification Bane had throughout other than "league of shadows". I know what you mean about the cheese overload at the end, i was audibly laughing in the cinema, especially when Gordon did that slow stroke of the batsignal. Better than the last one, but Batman Begins was still 3x better, what a movie that was! Hopefully the next Batman they make will be a bit more ridiculous like the source material. Although i was really pleased with the Bane interpretation, 5x better than the Joker in the last one. Fun movie.

I was 5 pr 10 minutes late and when I got there bane just escaped from a plane and was hanging off. What happened before that?

Nothing, the scientist, another hostage and Bane were lead into the plane by some i dunno gang of terrorists and bane kidnapped the scientist and destroyed the plane. But like i said, i was tired so i could be wrong.

Ah, because the scientist supposedly died in a plane crash but then he was alive.
Also, when batman is being chased into that alley in the bike and then he emerges in the plane thing, was the bike meant to have turned into the plane? Coz that's silly, or was it convienantly hidden there?

Maybe he planned his escape route or has a sophisticated gps system? Or maybe he called it there in advance like he can do with other batvehicles?

Was alfred hallucinating at the end? If not why did they have the funeral at the wayne residence and alfred was crying. I would have thought he would have looked more suprised at the end if that was his first time seeing him since the bomb explosion.

This has dived opoinion.
But I think its one of those things where its left open to interpretation.
WIll Bruce come back as Batsie?
Does Robin the cop become Nightwing? Batman?
We will see more Batman movies, theres been Batman stories told since the 1930's
Whoever takes it over will hopefully do it well, maybe Nolan will continue?

yeah, this "universe" is done. the next batman film, whenever it happens, will undoubtedly be a reboot

I know, but I can hope.
Nolan did such a good job, I cant see anyone else living up to it.
But, you never know.

I think they might actually have a robin in the next one, dick grayson version, and i hope it wont be as "dark and edgy". Just make it fun.
