I can get the overall idea, envelope on the pitch. Sounds like Operator to me, as far as massive goes, put an envelope on the pitch to make the sound always go from alil pitch, put a square/saw on -24 & a +12/24/36/whatever/ oscillator above it, pass threw lowpass.. maybe some formant filter on one of the oscillators.. fuck around, sounds quite simple to me..

I've actually got something similar to that sound, basically in massive the sound relies on assigning envelopes to the wave table positions and intensity.
The envelope's attack is put to about "11 o'clock" and the decay level is all the way up. (might be a good idea to use one of the blank envelopes like "1Env")
You need a scream filter with the envelopes on the cutoff and the scream part of the filter with the resonance up 1/4 of the way.
For the sound i have these wavetables:
Needle/Formant/-24 ST (Semi Tones)/
Scrapyard/Spectrum/+24 ST/
Sine-Triangle/-24 ST/Spectrum/

then just experiment with putting the envelope you modified on different parameters :)
I wont tell you the trick not to ruin the fun, but i'd look into Ableton's Operator, thats what all of us freaks (such as him, point blank, jantsen etc) use for that shit kind of style, simpler than you think actually..

i think the OP is mostly talking about the way those reeses are modulated since he said pushing sound.

OP: try making a good sounding reese then messing with the different shapes of LFO's, or better yet, manually draw in a nice curve until you get it right and cop it in the pattern you would like. keep it in sync with the tune unless your going for just random filter sweeps and what not.

Hmmm, yeah, that's not the sound.
Alright, so from my memory, this is how you do it. If this works, please tell me :)
Osc 1 is tuned up two octaves (+24)
Osc 2 is tuned down two octaves (-24)
Sine shaper in insert 1, with both knobs at 50% (12 oclock)
From there on you mess about if you want a clearer sound (eq and stuff), maybe distortion etc. But that should be the real basic sound.

The default patch in massive should have a macro control assigned to the vibrato stuff, but if it doesnt, you'll find it in the first tab thing. (Cant remember what the tab is called)

I'm sure this is easy for many but I am having a hard time figuring it out, I know it involves some sort of scream filtering and detune or whatever, its the formant sound at 0:40, it's practically the main sound as it is played the most throughout the song. I use massive and fm8, if anyone knows how to make it, please and thank you

Can't really help but that track always reminds me of a weird version of Bonfire by KnifeParty.
