I was lucky enough to hear Mala drop this last Saturday... He played it almost entirely iirc. Just WOW. A serious contender for tune of the year. Tbh I wouldn't be too surprised if it was released on Medi. The man seemed to be crazy about it.

Thanks Mala for the best 'mixtape' i've ever heard. Introducing me to a few artists. Burned a couple ounces of outdoor to it so far. i've basically built it aside from the unreleased tracks. Much essential vibes. i didn't know what i was missing. I've probably listened to Bafoulabe 100 times and the album is excellent. Body Clock Delay! i keep playing this little bit to people cuz it blows my mind, can't wait for the whole. Hoping the 2014 boxset will have it. Sincere gratitude!

it's not east of the river nile, it's called "harvest in the east" by tommy mccook, though it was mislabeled as a version of east of the river nile on some questionably licensed augustus pablo compilation (same question bothered me for like a year).
