See my first response in this reply. The last thing I want is an Internet that thinks like this... do you really believe that only the financially able should be able to have a presence online? Would that be a bit... rubbish?

I do think that anyone should have a voice on the internet, but even in its current advertising form I already gave you an example where that can be done without the standard internet advertising, so without the form it would probably be the exact same, i don't necessarily think that advertising is such a good thing overall and I'm sure the internet will survive absolutely fine without it, if anything clean up a little double content websites purely based on advertising and profit

What are you adding to this? That subsidy has to come from somewhere - sure, with modern datacentres and virtualisation it doesn't cost anywhere near the entire cost of a server to run a website... but there's still a cost; and if we want to allow people onto the web who have something to contribute but no money, I don't believe there's a better option.

of course there is a cost, it is providing a service for you, nothing is stopping you from hosting your own website

so actually i change my answer, your own pc is your answer of hosting your own free website without making any profit, hows the hat taste?
