Went to Outlook like first year it was on because it looked nice and sunny.
Haven't looked back, probably one of the best weeks of my life even though I feel in the sea with my ipod and passport.

				mid 2008
brother tells me to listen 2 cockney thug in myspace
hate it first. absolutely hate it.
then after a few listens i get addicted to the wobbling effect..what is itttt
later 2008
i get fabriclive 37
tracks standing out: spongebob, cockney thug buraka som sistema remix, rock bottom
love the bass..
2009
listening to moar producers.
all hyped up for tectonic 2 cause of the skream track: get driven into the more deep, percussive element of dubstep. switch over from caspa and rusko
whole year goes off spending money on music and learning about it
etc

Late 2007, was browsing the Sytrus Patches section of the FL Studio forums. Some guy had uploaded clips of Red Eye and Spongebob, asking how he could emulate the bass. Searched around and found the first Tectonic Plates album - been hooked ever since.

Heard some being played through a pirate station in about 2002/2003, and thought "fuck, that is bassy." Then just heard and liked the odd snippet now and again as I was still a metalhead, and I'm not ashamed to say when I heard the FabricLive 37 mix, I was hooked.

i used to think it was all stupid and nothing but meaningless sounds, but that changed when i went to a dubstep night. i dont think the mainstream and stuff on youtube do it justice.
