when there is so much fucked up corruption in the world, it is sometimes hard to find a center point at which to aim your frustrations. I really do hate to generalize, but on the whole...it is the wealthy & elite that have spent the last several centuries doing their best to fuck over those that have less but posses the potential to move the system out of this cycle. Being on the bottom end of this problem, you are left wondering what you could possibly do to push change thru the centuries of smokescreens. It became pretty obvious that the Haight-Ashbury system of complacency & drugs wasnt working in Chicago when the hippies got beat the fuck down and never recovered. The ultimate smokescreen is to make the majority THINK that they are actually the minority.

What we need are soundsystems bumping our music in the streets. They are still OUR streets, correct? This simple act has much greater political meaning & likely influence than standing in a crowd screaming fuck the police. Guess what, they know you dont like them & they prolly dont fucking care. We do not need another age of Capitalism or any bastardization thereof. What we need is an Age of Enlightenment. The value of money must go down & the value of art, music & culture must go up. This takes the POWER away from the banks & elite, without which they are simply blocks to build upon.

then go fucking reading the libraries that prove banks never stopped dirty practices if you really want to learn, not asking some random guy on the net hoping that him having flows in his argumentation will prove you're cool, because if you miss your balls to face reality public perception won't change that !

tbf alienpimp - you yourself asked me to explain something in another thread rather than go away and re-read it in a library and re-familiarising while exploring another approach or mindset... i chose not to explain it yet as quite frankly there's more to life than continually arguing things on a forum with a limited language set, especially when the information is readily available too and supported by current evidence (whether or not it is right!). And i believe you to be too locked in your stance to be open to seeing things from a different viewpoint than the one you start on.... i may be wrong, but you seem to just like arguing for the sake of it...... plus i have to actually work sometimes apparently.

you're only being asked for much of the same information and understanding of your thought processes, but from people willing to listen and consider alternative viewpoints. if you dont want to give it, say so. but then you cant be surprised when people get a bit fed up hearing it over and over when you dont. they are being naturally curious and want to know. it's part of natural debate and learning

that's fair enough - i dont spend as much time on here as i used to so am unaware of all these other threads or get to dig through them.... but if that's the case, i guess maybe work out a nice succinct argument that summarises the point, to copy and paste to people when they raise the same issues

i'm sure a few people in this thread are also curious, and unaware of where these things are.

ahhh but that is human nature and everyone is susceptible to that i'm afraid... but it's possible some people could be offended when statements are made that can be insulting (and that works both ways). the problem with this is it can make people defensive and antagonistic and it mars the flow and the point tbh.
i dont mean just you, unfortunately it happens a lot, with people trying to cover a complex argument in a few lines, inevitably things get misinterpreted or clouded in the reader's perception. but it helps people to listen if the tone is kept in the spirit of debate rather than name calling or insults.

Well, my guess is that you take more pleasure in having a controversial opinion and reading things with controversial opinions than you do in actually learning about things for yourself.

I haven't seen any of the explanations of your own personal logic on the forum, but perhaps if I stick around even longer you'll post them of your own accord. Or you'll just post more articles from people who have made up their mind without telling us *how* they made up their mind.
