makes me angry. It won best fucking sound design OVER The Dark Knight. What a massive load of shit.
Other than that and the ridiculous sing song at the end, I thought it was ok.

The Dark Knight is so overrated. I like it more than Slumdog but still, it's massively overrated.

Perhaps so. But the sound in TDK is in another league compared to slumdog.

Dear Rob Zombie,
Please stop making Halloween films.
You obviously have no understanding of the Michael Myers character and are simply cashing in on his notoriety and image because you are too lazy and
too much of a shoddy, third rate film maker to think of your own killer. You didn't even bother to create your own film for the first one and simply copied
John Carpenters, vastly-superior-in-every-way, original. The second one as far as I could tell, because you seemed to insist on filming most of it in total
darkness, was an excuse for a someone wearing a burned off michael mask to walk as slow as possible throughout the whole film to end up butchering
a bunch of spoilt, foulmouthed, midly retarded girls nobody cared about in the first place while your haggard wife who looks like a trailer park version of
sheryl crow, minced around like an aids riddled liv-tyler-as-arwen from lord of the rings while Malcolm McDowell sat on the sidelines watching his career
go spiralling down the toilet.
You have a complete lack of understanding and empathy with the character of Michael, Laurie, Sam Loomis et al. Did you really think that editing everything
faster than an MTV advert on speed, flashy lights, tits and a lot of screaming and swearing would make up for genuine suspense and terror and would cover
up the fact that you have actually shit all over one of the greatest movies/killers/storys/characters in movie history with your masturbatory, fanboy, goreporn?
Some of us are not 17 year old boys looking for a quick grope on the back seat of the cinema.
Some of us actually watch a film because we care about things which you find quite trivial like plot, character development & movie legacy.
If you will insist on shitting all over the Halloween and Michael Myers franchise again then I will have to kill you.
Sincerely
Horse

You can apply this to almost every single 'big' film that comes out of Hollywood though.

Another good idea poorly executed... it's not a bad film just the usual clichés of people arriving in the nick of time, predictable plot twists, dramatic heart wrenching moments that are turgid. Great idea for a film, some good actors in it but the script, directing and so on spoil it. It lacked sophistication, clearly been made for the American teenage MTV audience.

Sympathy for the Underdog (博徒外人部隊 Bakuto gaijin butai?) is a 1971 Japanese yakuza film, directed by Kinji Fukasaku and starring Koji Tsuruta and Noboru Ando.
This film was director Kinji Fukasaku's (Battle Royale, Battles Without Honor and Humanity) last film featuring Koji Tsuruta as the main character. In the film Koji Tsuruta plays a hard boiled Yakuza boss, Gunji, whose yakuza gang is driven out of Yokohama by a powerful gang from Tokyo. After being released from prison, Gunji collects what's left of his loyal members in order to start over his small organization. However after setting up their new operation in Okinawa, the large yakuza organization from Tokyo that was responsible for their previous downfall and Gunji's imprisonment, comes to the island in a grand procession to gain control of the territory. This leads to a bloody and cold confrontation that is the climax of the film.
