Watching David Attenborough's Origin of Life. It showed ant colonies and eggs and reminded me of family in the Philippines who lived in the remote mountains (no electricity). I visited every summer when I was a child. They would "harvest" ant eggs and cook them (I don't know how) and eat them. I've tried one egg, sour, and vomited. Never tried again since.

you can get a used SL1 on ebay for like 125-150 quid

im looking to pick one up too

if u have windows getting sl1 to work w/ it can be a huge pain in the dick

but i eventually did

Future garage is wack. Misses the point of garage nearly always. It's like so clean and shit. Sounds like it's made by someone too young to remember garage in their bedroom on a mac that their parents bought them who think that if you make vaguely similar rhythms but with no attitude and generic current sample pack clean drums and do it with shitty tumblr friendly dull chord progressions that it makes it "future"

Also Synkro is terrible (though I did enjoy his dj set I saw a while back)
