im not an expert on de genre at all- i only listen to it in winter, go round the park with it in my headphones and some cigarettes- its blissful.
These are some of me faves.
- this ones kind of dubsteppy- crossover stuff
For pure beauty you can't beat Basic Channel though (and shed)
and cant really talk about dub techno without mentioning maurizio

i dont rightly know tbh, iu'm guessing its the greater focus on the bass- and minimal elemnts
if you listen to stuff like this
you can see the connection i think (take the vocals out its pretty similar)

next to nothing i'm afraid- i liked a few tunes when it blew up but its all but died a death creatively now i think. It kind of took over Britain in about 2010- Katy B got a number one singing on a funky tune.
Theres loads of it on rinse- check out marcus nasty etc. Its good when you fancy a good simple happy tune like this, or this but yeah not really my thing
Sonika you listen to way too much music... Almost every time puve recommended an artist, I've never heard of them...

The more the better! Listening to a wide range of artists, styles, and tunes is a great way to diversify your interests, stay interested, and create your own trademark style

Listening to a wide range of styles is good and i guess everyone is diffrent, for me its always been to not listen to much music in the genre i am creating and thus it keeps me more original. Used to listen to Drum and bass alot, own alot of vinyl, djed, but wouldnt make much Dnb when i sat down to produce.
