Registered a little bit ago but starting to look through everything here! Audio engineering and music addict (dubstep, d&b, trance, many other things) and I'm running a growing business called Noctem Audio which has hopes of becoming a label. Currently searching for unsigned talented artists =)

Working on my own first release as well, you can find info on Noctem Audio at www.facebook.com/noctemaudio and also noctemaudio.info

Love this forum and all it offers!

Newcomer. Reading. I am probably not your usual audience, I'd like to learn for personal pleasure. Not looking to play, distribute except for maybe friends. I have always been into music, but I have problems developing callouses so instruments have always failed for me. I love music styles like Dubstep even though my taste in it is also weird.

So I'm here to learn! I'll try not to step on too many toes.

Started out as a junglist, heard Photek "Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu" and it just progressed from there. Heard Digital Mystikz "Haunted" and began an interest in Dubstep. Heard Loefah "Goatstare" and my life was changed. Benga's Radio 1 Essential Mix and Caspa & Rusko's Fabriclive.37 opened my ears to all the variations that the style had to offer. I will eventually delve into DJ'ing and producing, but for now I just want to chat with the fellow heads and continue to learn about this art form.

I'm from sunny Southern Cali and I just recently attended my first show (lots of quality selectas, but Benga murdered them all that night) after 2+ years of collecting tracks and mixes, and now I understand this music's power. My tastes tend to lean towards Roots and really Deep releases, but every now and then some good wobbliness will get me right.

I look forward to getting to know all of you guys. Respect!

Favorite tracks: Loefah "Goatstare" - DFRNT "Saturation Point" - Truth "Amnesia" - Gargamel "Hocus Pocus" - Caspa "Big Head Slags" (best sample EVER lol) - ABZ "Felt"

Wish List: Skream "Levitation" - Benga "Urban Fox" - Mala "Enter Dimensions"

One more question: Is the term "Bro-step" the new "Clown-step"? I remember so much controversy over that term. Don't want to cause any trouble

Hey, new here, registered a few minutes ago, I would like to learn how to create dubstep music, for personal pleasure and accomplishment, no plans of distributing it to anyone. Hope this forum will be able to help me. Thank you :)

A lot of you know me from dubstep.fm chat, and I've been on these forums for a long time. But I haven't posted anything in a really long time, so I'm here now to change that

What's up Dubstepforum! I'm posting from Atlanta where dubstep is slowly catching on. I've been really into DnB for year but have only recently gotten hooked on dubstep. Big fan of Flux Pavilion, Skrillex and anything else super hard. I think I've freaked out most of my co-workers by blasting Filth.fm everyday. Even managed to convince our repair techs to use Flux's remix of Gold Dust to test some high end Harmon-Kardon stereos. Good stuff, until the boss started complaining about things rattling.

Hi all. :)

Just started getting into my dubstep and decided to start making tunes. Found a gold mine of information on these forums, so thanks for that! From the UK with a mainly DnB background.

Please leave me some feedback on my tune if you get a chance.

Hi All,

Just thought I would say hello!

My name is DJGmix and I am a DJ in Cumbria. I tend to specialise in Dubstep but lend my hand to a few other genre's including reggae and electro under different guises.

Look forward to getting to know you all.
