i love russia and miss it a lot. unlike a lot of people i really loved a lot of the food. i actually loved the egg and cabbage pirozhki, kolbasy, pelmeni with sour cream (everything with sour cream), bliny with evaporated sweetened milk, the little gherkins with vodka, massive slices of cherry pie for like 50p, smetanniki...

but fried pasta is taking the piss. and borshch is absolutely fucking wrongers.

Definitely let this one slide... I spent most of my childhood convincing my Mum to cook things that required evaporated milk so I could finish off the tins. Haven't thought about that in years!
