think its just the total calories and macros in such a short window that i find daunting
previous example rough numbers
Calories 2926
Protein 292
Carbs 256
Fat 81
to be consumed between 2pm and 10pm
then fasting 10pm until 2pm the next day
or am i missing some calculations

Soronery, that's exactly what I'm doing now. I would've liked to bulk a bit more, but my american football season is coming around again now, so can't afford to be carrying extra weight. Saying that, I haven't really lost much strength during this cut, I'm just a couple of kg lighter than I want to be.

ok id probably adjust it so eating window is 1pm until 9pm to allow for evening training a bit better
so guess that would be meals at 1pm 5pm and 9pm
plus post workout shake
to hit my marcos and calorie intake
?

Yeah, saw a few places say the bulk of your calories should be post workout, so I usually have a mid-sized lunch, pre-workout snack, then my main dinner with a protein shake pretty much as soon as I get home from the gym.

shouldn't you work out/exercise during your fast? That's what I got from the knucklehead twins.

With my working hours and the time I go the gym, it's next to impossible to workout during my fast, so I just switch it to take in the vast majority of my calories post-workout.

I dunno if I would be able to work out on an empty stomach, is intermittent fasting good though?

I forget most people have a 9-5 job

At the start it was tough but you soon get used to running on empty. Strangely I find some days I have more energy (maybe that's just the new coffee addiction).
From my very short experience, IF seems to work well. It's pretty easy once you get into a routine

I think I'm going to try intermittent fasting. Do you lower your calorie intake or just eat normally (x2 meals) for the 8 hours?
