Lack of sleep due to being on call and having a fucking ghetto-ass pager going off every couple of hours, 24 hours a day over the whole week and weekend.

Yeah he is a fighter.
Thing is though, with each time he's had it he's got so much weaker, plus the age factor don't help.
Just gotta stay positive eh

for FUCKS sake

For once I do reasonably well in my first set of exams, and leave myself with 3 practical resits. Yet, joy oh fucking joy, within the 2 week resit period, all 3 of mine are within 24 fucking hours.

Oh, and ive got a slipped disc. Fucking class.

wiggle, is that even allowed?
there's a law in belgium that states that uni examinations need more then 24 hours between them, otherwise i would mail your prof. if you could reschedule them?

I wish. My course is unfortunately fucked. Basically, im doing chiropractic at the welsh institute of chiropractic, which is technically a department within the university of glamorgan. Now, glamorgan uni is, im pretty sure, the worst university in the country. Like...its awful lol Its the place people who didnt manage to get into Cardiff go to.

So yeah, really low entry grades, and very rarely filled courses. Except for the chiro place, which is 3 A's at A level entry, and is something like 3/4 times over subscribed every year. So yeah, its basically the only good thing Glam has going for it, so they let the WIOC get away with actually anything.

Prime example. Friend of mine recently has been having a seriously shit time on the course. Shes had to talk to lecturers about stuff a fair amount, including one female lecturer who basically tries her hardest to be the "scary" one. When she was talking to her the other day, the scary lecturer actually explained how she considers a large part of her job to be trying to bring the 4th year chiropractors to the point of breakdown through undermining confidence, personal comments and generally trying to knock uss off our stride, in order for us to have to come to terms with this and "grow up", as you would need to be in a clinical setting as a chiropractor. Weve only been in clinic for about a month or so (and im not even in clinic yet myself) but ive already seen the scary lecturer bring 4/5 people in our year to tears in clinic.

Now, I aint going to argue that you need to have your head screwed on pretty well as a healthcare pracitioner, but...im fairly sure a lecturer attempting to systematically break down those who she thinks are weak is surely borderline (if not completely) illegal.

Long story short, this course is fucked. SO fucked. (in fact, anyone out there interested in chiropractic as a course, definitely do it, its a wicked profession, but DO NOT do it at the WIOC.)

How have I spent 11 quid on internet browsing?!
I've been sat on my fat arse infront of the computer most of this past month.
