Not all footwork is that though.
The footwork thread had a video that I think mIrRen posted actually.
It is filled with groovy, deep bass rollers, very arty style of bass music.
Even Jaydrop's Dirtynote mix had some awesome rollers.
It's not all hi hats and 808 kicks.

There's more than enough disco to go around already, no more shitty plastic disco made my people trying to escape the holds of dubstep.

yeah but a lot of the old stuff isn't playable in sets cos the drums etc. are so weak compared to modern stuff so we need more re-edits

its great to mix, but you need to ride the pitch as they don't necessarily stay in time

would rather dig up old classics & have ppl make more footwork lol

Nah, needs to remain in Studio 54 style old disco ONLY sets.

Man, if I was of age when Studio 54 was still around, I'd be best friends with Nile Rogers, I would've done all the cocaine and probably would've got all the female members of Chic pregnant.
