anyway, this is the foundation of tune im workin on>> Soundcloud
Really liking the piano sample and synths, obviously the song could be longer, I think the drums could be given some more punch and maybe add a saturator to your bass line to fatten it up, other then that I think your on to something pretty good.
SAFE, yh this is just half of the actual tune cuz i jus uploaded enuff 4 you 2 get an idea.. anything u want me to drop feedback on btw?
really like this track and i have to agree with zonetrooper5 that the beats need to beef up a little bit more so u can feel kick and snare a bit more.. :e:

really good track dignan i can tell you put a lot of work into this track as its always evolving which is great, it does'nt at any point seem like you repeated any part of the track if that makes sense which is really impressive as i'm new to making music and one of the hardest things i find is to try and keep the track interesting and not just repeating itself....any tips

Typing as i listen!

Very nice! Normally i'd say to bump up the drums, add a kick and snare that really shape the track. But i think this works well, everything blends together really nicely. Really like the instrument playing at 20 seconds, what is that? Real nice instrumentation throughout really. Nice use of delayed claps too, mixing it up slightly. I'd turn the sub up though, especially once it hits into the more DnB feel. It gets slightly repetitive without the sub bass really driving it, perhaps cut out some of the kicks in the first 28 seconds so there's even more difference when it starts to kick in? Seems to suddenly jump in with a load. Great track though!

Not even really into this style but i'd definitely play this.

To get the bassline to stand out more, have a go with the 'freesound bundle' from Soundhack.

Try Chebychev, can add some real harmonics and grit to your basslines!

The XTC bassline could end up sounding really nice if you mess around with these for a while.

Working very very slowly on this one, it's the same track as the one i posted yesterday but with a few slight difference.

Slightly different bass tone, more FX, guitar slide (too loud in the mix right now), a cool little delayed double clap midway through.

Still stuck on how to keep this from getting repetitive though, and i'm having no luck at all working an intro in.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure how helpful my feedback will be since I don't make tunes like this, but I love goin' nuts to a nice, aggressive dubstep tune... one thing I noticed was that the high frequencies in the snare were hurting my ears lol, maybe maybe roll them off around 13-15k. I was diggin your synths and bass sounds though man.

Thanks for giving me some feedback on my tune man, big up!

Thanks for that, will get on it!

BTW it was your delayed claps that got me to whack in that little shuffly delayed double snare at 36 seconds and i really like how it turned out! Cheers! :)
