Much prefer older covers to the glossy crap they put out nowadays. Should never judge a book by its cover, as the saying goes, but whoever said that definitely underestimated the appeal of a good cover.

Slaughter House 5 is a good one.
Thanks for the link - I always find that site, waste an hour or so and then forget about it.
I have this fantasy of making a living designing cool book covers.

also reading this one, my dad got it for me for xmas. started off a bit cynical about it cos its all about 1920s society, but actually i quite like his style of writing, draws you into the story even though I don't particularly find myself caring about the characters too much.

Good once you get into the good stuff, i found it quite long and tedious at the start but once it starts getting good you're hooked! I watched the original film after, good film too.

I really didn't like the the Swedish film very well at all. Haven't seen the new one with Craig yet.
