The dizziness and tingly/pins & needles could be as a result of overdoing it on the nitrous, I've had friends who have had it happen to before. Usually after a 'messy' festival, my old housemate had it happen after Secret Garden a couple years back.

I only did like 4/5, I try and avoid balloons at festivals as much as possible because I always end up spending too much money on them.



It's probably the MD to be honest, I did way too much on the last night. I think I'll probably give it a rest for a while, starting to resent doing it a little bit lately anyway. If I'm still dizzy in the morning I'm going to the doctor to see what he says.

dizziness is a side effect of smashing too much mandy. it lowers ur blood pressure so when you stand up you get loads of headrushes***

not sure it has anything to to with nitrous. nitrous is horrific though. u pretty much only trip balls cos ur starving ur brain of oxygen. retarded lol.


***edit headrushes like those dizzy ur eyes go fuzzy and u cant see, not headrushes like ur coming up

it goes away after a few days. shouldnt last longer than a week or two really. if its 2 weeks ur pushing it

i want to it's just im spending so much just keeping up with releases i never get round to sorting out my discogs wantlist.

p.s. it really is so sick to mix, does anyone find it's much easier to mix than most other genres?
p.p.s. maybe it's cos i was born in '94 so i've got some latent junglist potential
p.p.p.s. i should clarify when i say jungle i probably don't mean jungle my three records are photek 7 samurai, photek hidden camera and ray keith sing (time)/babylon so that's probably more early dnb than jungle yh?

@nev I'll check dnr didn't know they did jungle, thought it was just a garage place. never really liked the idea of buying a pack of records where im unfamiliar w/ 90% of em tho


another random thought on some stream of consiousness flex, read at your own peril it's really not that interesting tbh

basically i've been having a bit of a dry spell production wise, haven't been able to produce anything decent solo (excluding collabs) for about two months now first i thought it was just writers block something everyone goes through and ive always been bad at finishing tracks but recently my workrate's been a myth. the only stuff i've been able to make progress on aside from collabs are remixes and i never really figured out why. anyway today i was inspired by another producer to be more bold and ambitious with my influences and decided to write a dragonball z inspired ep so i flicked through some soundtrack cds (all of em) teefing a few melodies and riffs here and there to remix/redo etc. and for some reason i've been making great progress and have been really pleased with my workrate, so i sat down had a think and realised that whereas before i could just open my DAW and make a beat my production process has changed to the extent that for me to make a track and finish it i can't just approach the daw blankly i need to have an idea in my head first that i want to achieve. i've watched a few interviews where this has been mentioned but i always thought it was for other people and paid no attention but now it seems that's the way i'm gonna be producing for a while. tbh im quite pleased about it because firstly it should mean my dry spell production wise is at an end thank god and secondly because it opens a number of doors for inspiration, im gonna write music inspired by film theme music, by games, inspired by all sorts of stuff.

can't see that tune diego, but I know plenty of good stuff nowadays too but compared to some old jungle it's well ...

i won't be able to forgive myself tbh. i'm not letting anyone hear it until the ep is done and im 100% happy w/ it whether it's two weeks or two years.
