@ SesG
Really like tha main synth good use of panning really gives it some space
The purcussion is really good helps to drive it along and keep that pace.
I think the sub could maybe come down in volume a tad? and that main synth can get a bit overpowering at times i think
I would maybe have a few different drum hits that stand out a bit more, the percussion can tend to merge into one a little, maybe thats just my ears.
Like cloak and dagger said, some more silence wouldn't go a miss, maybe a bit more of a quiter, less spacey breakdown, something that feels a little more intimate and controlled.
@ Depone if you want some feedback i shall attmept to oblige
I think the vocal could stand out a little more, i'd try maybe some subtle side chaining to other elements and see if that helps to bring it forward a bit
Also when the vocal goes away and the other section comes in, i think that can become a little repetetive, maybe have an alternate rhythm for the bass at some point?
@ cloak and dagger
i would like to hear some more variation in the hi hats, like a bar at the end of each 4 or 8 bar phrase that is way simpler than the main pattern, even just a 1 2 3 4 then back in the main rhythm
I think the bass could come up a little in the mix
Also i think it would be interesting to hear some kinda droney vowel-eque vocal type sample (or any sort of pad/drone type sound) dropped in and out to fill out the mid range a bit, it feels a bit like theres really nice bass, really nice treble, but the midrange is lacking, theres a bit of a hole in the middle
Overall though i like it, great rhythm, great pace, some really nice sounds going on with the synths
On the whole though i reall like it
Right, here is a new one from me. I'm at a really great place at the moment where i'm really starting to be pleased with what im turning out, and every track i complete feels like a definate improvement on the last, so here is one i just finished today, i also worked quite hard at the mix here so some comments on that would be nice, cheers
