It really seems like small businesses have been targeted, off licences, greengrocers, etc. Like at the student protests, they vandalised landmarks. Totally outrageous.

thats one of the craziest fires ive seen...its too bright for the camera

when I was a kid a local furniture store/carpet store caught on fire and was gone in literally 15 minutes. Reminds me of this fire. That fire spread down the entire block and just destroyed everything in its path.
Looking at the video it looks like there may be residential housing to either side and behind it?

im not certain but im afraid to say i think the other side isnt a store but houses yes....i hope theyre not the owners

not to state the obvious, but isn't it a bit stupid to be rioting in the most CCTV ridden city in the world?
we've had riots in the US where they just post pics online, offer $100 for an anonymous tip and arrested dozens in literally an hour or two on facebook.

yeah, quite a few are covering thir faces but a lot aren't, met chief has just said that they will be posting pictures up soon of people they are after. will be a lot of people getting knocks on their doors over the next few weeks.
