Nice one bud,i've always wanted to use a krs-one vocal and for some reason this one just seemed to fit.Was a bit of a nightmare to get in time but i got there in the end.I'm glad you liked it.

OK so just i get going I'm gonna suggest that for a theme we have to incorporate at least one natural or non synth instrument, this could be like a guitar, bass, flute, piano, anything just can't not be a synth....GO

Sounds good to me,does it need to be just one instrument?can it be samples of an orchestra or anything?

Lloydy, thx for feedback will give everyone some ASAP.

Ehbrums1, the problem with that is not everyone has access to real instruments.
The theme for next should be trying a post-dubstep type of thing, sort of like artists like Burial, James Blake, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Mount Kimbie, etc.

Is that cool? Just seems a lot more open than the other idea

you are aware that you can sample any audio from the internet, natural instruments included.....

and I'm pretty sure we already determined that specific genres can't be themes, you can do what ever you want

I already have 16 bars done already,i am using the batman and robin film score for my source.Got some eastern percussion and instruments going.I think anyone should do any style,if you try and stick to one style people might struggle i would much rather put my own stamp on it.I look forward to your feedback.

Oh okay I see what you're going for, cool! :W: I'll get in on it when I get home.

Okay just to make it clear:

The theme for this week is to incorporate one real instrument into your track, be it bass, guitar, horn, flute, etc - it just can't be synth-generated. If you dont have means to record one on your computer, you can just sample it from YouTube or another song, etc.
