Did some steppy stuff too;
Not the greatest allround tune but 1st drop is up there with the heaviest.
People got any favourite/classic mixes or albums they'd like to put forward?
Also, is there an decent online forum for this stuff, yet to find anything with much activity?

That is such an amazing tune, dont really get why people are hostile to Noisia...
On the subject of the community, there isn't really one - theres ihatebreakcore.com, but thats kind of dead too.

Well, their "dubstep" tunes are pretty meh, and they're kinda entry level. I mean, they're like the first thing kids who just getting into dnb (maybe electronic music in general nowadays) listen to, along with Spor, Pendulum etc. Artists like that generally get dissed for a shitload of reasons.

There's still breakcore.com.au and breakcore.nl. Don't know how active they are anymore.
And you guys. C8.COM. That place has been holding it down for breakcore since 1995? All the 'big' guys are on there too (Hecate, Christoph F, Dev/Null, Bong-Ra, Somatic Responses.. etc). It's died a lot since its peak, though. But that's like the number 1 spot for breakcore online. Though beware of the most shamelessly arrogant and self-indulgent, pseudo-intellectual chinstroking ever at that place. If you ever wanted to know why breakcore is dead, just look at those people's posts.
cool drumfunk label, but I feel that a lot of stuff there goes beyond the "rules" of dnb

Sounds like most forums Will check it out though.
And yeah, the reason i was a bit confused about Noisia hate is that their production skills are usually on point, and reading their DOA posts it seems like they worked hard for years to get to their position, unlike other "big" artists who seemed to just get lucky on hype.

Dude, C8 takes chinstroking to another, almost RESPECTABLE, level. I kid you not. It makes all the douchey soundsystem/dubplate culture worship here look like a casual high five. Even noise forums don't hold a candle to it

I think it's about them going all out bro. Their dnb shit is still respected. I would've liked their dnb more if it was a lot harder, though. It's well produced and well written, but also has no balls to me.
Hey genevieve, teach more about this so-called "avant-speedcore" you posted in the "omg 2 wierd muszik" thread, that blew my mind tbh

Oh word! Flashcore! It's mostly released by... Hangars Liquides, a crazy ass hardcore label from France. La Peste, Neurocore, Atomhead, etc. Some people count Xanopticon too. It's just rlllly cut up and fractured, glitchy speedcore. Though it's bordering more abstract noise collages lately.
Ohhh shit, this flashcore stuff is great, i never thought i'd like this sort of stuff It's like everything i like about breakcore and glitch combined with the few things i like from gabba and speedcore

Yeah, Boomtown rocked my socks yet again, saw a handful of the best sets I've ever seen;
Struggling the remember details but;
Scamp (seen 15+ times) played maybe the best dnb set I've seen, wish he'd upload it but contractual obligations say neigh...
Wan Bushi played a fucking intense amen tekno rinse out, you'd think each tune had already dropped and he'd slap another layer of breaks/4x4 on top, mentalist.
DJ Producer and Deathmachine did what you'd expect, fucking relentless.
Panacea & Parasite smashed it too.
Soundcloud
Mental new metal/breakcore tune, no one does it as good as this guy.
