I wouldn't buy it then. Go with one of the equally nice ones that cost less.
I can almost hear the laughter coming from the people who run brands like that.

Throughout the year thats what i'd usually spend, like 150ish, but every winter i like to get one really nice coat/jacket for more

Definitely respect that, but I feel like the point of an expensive but high quality jacket
is that it'll last you a few years you know.

it not rlly my style i'm too much of a pleb. definitely would fit in with the upper classes @ st andys tho = they love the joules/hunter/barbour country shit.
