sort of fucked mine up, only had self raising flour, plus i guesstimated the mixture. they were ok, nowhere near as good as mums tho.
plus i realised i had no golden syrup, castor sugar or lemons. had to settle for semi congealed honey from last year.

Me and my girlfriend just got back from Amsterdam and she woke up saying 'I fancy pancakes today, do you?', I was like 'Yeah sure'.
Made some, turned out it was Pancake day.
Was a calling from the pancake god. Cool story.

^^ This. Not having a whisk is a poor excuse for not making pancakes. If you solely ate food that required chopsticks, than fair enough, but even then I'd probably still give it a go.

Another year, another thread...whos getting on the pancake tip this week?
Standard practice operating again in my place - ham & cheese/spinach & ricotta to get with, then sweet (looking like blueberries & ice cream this year) to follow up

I'd forgotten... yes. Most definitely!
Better stock up on lemons, bananas and Nutella!

Yes! All about making american style pancakes though.
Usually have mine with Honey/Maple Syrup/Nutella/Ben and Jerries Chocolate Fudge Ice-cream
