I urinated earlier today.
Also, I have had water afterwards.
The Coca-Cola can on my desk most likely has at least 3 drops still in it.

Well not the entire life, but the things they have to do to survive and get through the day often are. Does amuse me occassionally to think that some of these glamourous celebrities that are held up as pinnacles of acheivement are probably wondering why there's a sock missing from the drawer or stuck in traffic somewhere.*Grand* wrote:most peoples life's are boring.
Hmm....

Not always... standing in line at the bank, surrounded by people who are completly uninteresting and with nothing to amuse yourself isnt being lazy... youre out running errands, youre being productive, you just happened to hit a boring moment in your dayamykamala wrote:boredom is a symptom of lack of imagination and failure to take observation in small details of the world around you. boredom is a symptom of refusal to take responsibility for ones own perception. boredom is a symptom of laziness.
you can have a hyperactive immagination and still find yourself bored in the right/wrong circumstance...
sorry, this is verging on becoming an intresting debate and going against everything this thread was founded on... Ill stop

that's where the thing about details comes in. you can utilize your powers of observation to notice the small details about something and find beauty in that, or you can use the time to introspect and feel out your own mindstate and body .. to meditate or simply exist. nothing wrong with just being, breathing, existing without doing.
on a more boring note, i transplanted my succulent, and it started to wilt

=^_^=
Yep, uninteresting people sap my will to live. Imagination is best not used on ultraviolence utilising various bits of office equipment.kidlogic wrote: you can have a hyperactive immagination and still find yourself bored in the right/wrong circumstance...
I rarely find myself bored when on my own, but often do when amongst company (usually not of my own choosing).
Hmm....

nail on the head... the bank line thing may have been a bad analogy, maybe something more like a meeting on the reasons why the new schedule change will help productivity, or a lecture about how TPS report cover sheets are now manditory and will help the good of the company, or going to church, etc would have better illustrated my point...Shonky wrote:Yep, uninteresting people sap my will to live. amy, I see the point youre trying to make, but certain situations like corporate meetings where you have to pay attention but doing so makes you want to claw your eyes out and stick them in your ears so you no longer have to listen really negate it, no matter how creative you are...
you fucking hippy, get out of this thread with your damned positive outlook on lifeamykamala wrote:kidlogic wrote:Not always... standing in line at the bank, surrounded by people who are completly uninteresting and with nothing to amuse yourself isnt being lazy... youre out running errands, youre being productive, you just happened to hit a boring moment in your dayamykamala wrote:boredom is a symptom of lack of imagination and failure to take observation in small details of the world around you. boredom is a symptom of refusal to take responsibility for ones own perception. boredom is a symptom of laziness.
