true story: i once purchased a 3.5 of very nice high grade for the price of a left shoe & a shiny green rock. some hippy with one shoe on. i had an extra pair. he didnt take them both because he didnt want to cheat me. i threw in the shiny green rock i had just found cus i didnt want to cheat him.

moral: money is good. we all enjoy having it & the nice things we can buy with it(mmmm...vinyl...)...but there is a fine balance between the value of currency & over-valuing a thing so much that it consumes all else. i prefer bags of herb, shoes & shiny green rocks to a piece of dirty paper any day. I believe that if society thought the same, we might have a nice stable market of positive vibrations...heard?

Guys, do you have any clue who Spiked are? Or their relationship to the Revolutionary Communist Party/ Living Marxism journal?

Have a look at these intesting links before you ever quote an article in Spiked again:

won't you be better reading what you have been given already instead of skipping like a broken record?
ah, but you're just a lie who's not really interested in things, and i don't give a fuck about what you ask me anymore
i was having fun dealing with those monkeys, but i can't be bothered to talk to you, you're just between boring and disgusting to me with your pretended openmindedness that's never getting you even to click a link
so really, it's friday night, either bring some entertainment to the table or be for real or i'll just ignore you, think whatever

I was wondering how long it would take you to start calling people monkeys who don't agree with you

Everyone seems willing to engage in a debate other than you . You state your opinion as if it's fact, then refuse to elaborate when questioned, instead attempting to patronise people and avoid the question.

I wasn't talking about him specifically if you cared to read genius, and you appeared to be calling a lot of people on here monkeys:

then if i didn't call him monkey why were you "wondering how long it would take you to start calling people monkeys who don't agree with you  " ? were you waiting for long there? you thought you'd better provoke it?

No, I have read a number of your previous posts and there seems to be a rather predicatable and tedious pattern of you sloganeering, then when people disagree you call them a monkey.

I wasn't referring to just this thread. I wouldn't say you've been contradicting anyone, just trying to pick holes in people's posts when you haven't got the intelligence to answer any of their questions coherently enough to express your views effectively.

I wasn't referring to just this thread.
so where's the pattern then? 12 pages and no pattern?

and let me get the picture clearly: you waited in the shadows for a few days, you knew it will come sooner or later, like a trained agent you were after my wrong step and when you heard "monkey" you jumped like i was calling you?
too bad it wasn't addressed to anybody, to be found out after 50th reading huh?
so you come in the topic bringing in stuff unrelated to anyhthing in this thread, but some others, some other time

please post more, goes well with the chorizos show! :v:

monkeys never did anything wrong, i like monkeys...

when i was about 6, i was asked to write an essay on what i wanted to be when i grew up, i found the essay a couple years back. i have these dim memories of me taking allday to write a couple of lines..... everyone said a vet or an astronaut or a farmer or such... but i said

"i want to be a monkey and swing from tree to tree and eat bananas all day"

monkeys actually got it right.... not enough trees in brighton but im working on it

apparently you don't know the monkeys i'm talking about, you can know them mostly by the fact that their first post in many threads they don't grasp is "you're an idiot" or some teenage mockery in 1-2 lines

also they are substupid, i don't talk like that to stupid people

but it's friday night, i'm done with my boring computer tasks, the chorizos are done and it's gonna be hard to catch my attention next few hours

have a good one!

Alien,

I don't think I feel either way about your opinions. I'm naturally inclined to accept the argument that all money is evil and all bankers are Satan and that people are sheep when they go to work, buy their commodities etc.

The problem I have is that a) most of the time I don't have a clue what you're chatting about and b) you've corrupted a perfectly intellectually stimulating discussion on something I'm interested in, and turned it into a silly name-calling game.

Nice one.
