Metal is arguably one of the most diverse genres of music there is, most of the metalheads on here would probably tell me my test in certain subgenres of metal is utter shit, just like I don't really care for Black Metal at all, I know plenty of people who thought they hated metal but actually just hadn't found their particular niche in metal yet

if you don't like loud guitars you're pretty knackered though, that's a constant

Yeah, I really like well produced, minimalist stuff where there is lots of space/clarity/bass. Metal just doesn't have that in the same way I want to hear it. I know a lot of metal can be very well produced but it just doesn't have the same emphasis on bass that I really like.

really don't get how people can take the whole aesthetic of bm seriously

used to be into metal (mostly bm and stoner doom shit) for a while but got pretty bored of it. plus i never really like the metal crowd; always so serious about the shit they liked, called out people for being posers, shit like that (though i later realised every scene has those types)

Just do a few 'versions' of those 2 tunes with only a few minor variations (mainly just reverb and delay) and release them under the pseudonym Jah Epoch, job done

If you watched the film then you would understand that his concept was like the rest of the social media sites at the time, his execution was crude and it only became popular because it was targeting elitism and was bankrolled by his mates families wealth...There are millions of highly skilled coders who make less than average earnings because they didn't go to a top alumni or have connections with money...Not to say that zuckleburger isn't a clever guy.

That's an hour long track of weighty sounds. Wait til the full band is in and tell there isn't clarity and bass in there.
