Yeah tell me about it. Although, as I'm aiming to get in to teaching in the next few years, every day will be like a presentation! Uh oh....
I did a year oh teacher training, quite liked it.
Just keep reminding yourself, holidays.

Aiming to do it abroad mate - Japan most likely. Just got to get my degree under my belt and possibly a masters - if I have the inclination to stay in the UK until I'm 34.

Yeah I think so. You can get jobs via TEFL but all employers want people with a degree which is kinda why I'm doing it, otherwise I'd already be there...

Royal mail prices are a joke. 1st class recorded nearly 4 quid for something about the size of a box of smokes and which probably weighed less.
Wankers

My friend got his Anthropology degree and went to teach conversational English in Japan.
This was 8 years ago.
He married a Japanese girl, speaks fluent Japanese now and is working for one of the Largest Logistics companies in the world.
Be warned, they fuck you over big time when you're teaching.
Find a good school and stick with it.

Might be bullshit but i heard in Japan they often hire westeners to walk around offices and building so when guests come they look... something, i dunno.

Warning heeded. Cheers.
Gonna take a trip out there next summer hopefully to scope out a couple of cities. Osaka and Okinawa really appeal. I think Tokyo is too obvious and will be fucking expensive and way too crowded - the two reasons I don't live in London over here.
Where did your mate move to?

Trip to Dubai to see the missus has had to be postponed, her contract at work is coming to an end so she'd be really busy looking for a job and new flat while I'm out there, figured it was best to wait until after she'd got something sorted out rather than be out there while she's got bare stress to deal with
Still a bit of a fucker though really, I was getting right excited about it

Gutted mate, still you're doing the right thing I think, no sense going all that way out there if you won't actually get to spend any time with her. She'll get a job etc. sorted before you know it
